• Program - "Library and mercy"
  One of the longest library projects among the social direction.
  Informative-resource center "Dzerelo" was created in the library. The main function of the center - to provide librarian and informational service to users with physical disabilities and development of the service program for Lugansk and the region.
  The web site contains the following sections: general information on the program, partners of the library, experience exchange, useful links. There are also announces and news from the seminars and conferences (past or future) on the main page of the web site.
  
• The center of the European Information
  The center of the European Information in Lugansk was officially opened on December 23, 2008 inLugansk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M. Gorky. The idea of creation of the Center has been triggered by the desire of founders to involve inhabitants of Lugansk region in the all-European information space as much as possible.
• Information portrait of Lugansk region
  The project "Information portrait of Lugansk region" - one of the first thematic regional web-resources of Luganschina. Was created and supported by Lugansk regional scientific library named after M. Gorky in 1999 and represented the analytical information reference book, which shows the infrastructure of the economical and social potential of Lugansk region. In course of time a resource outgrew in a rich regional database, where we try to present our region as wideras possible, in more interesting way and more actual. In 2001 the project became the finalist in the competition "Original Design - 2001" in a nomination "High-quality content", and from 2003 - got sponsor support from the International Renaissance foundation, company Kvazar-Micro and from "Ukraine - E-Development Association". Now it develops within the framework of All-Ukrainian project IRF: "Development of regional information portals and information centres on the basis of public libraries of Ukraine".
• Information Resource Center "«Russian center»"
  «Russian center» has been created with the support of "Russkiy Mir" and functions in the Lugansk Regional Universal Scientific Library at the department of the humanitarian literature.
  The information centre was officially open on September 18, 2009.
  The given project is created with the aim of popularisation of Russian language and culture, support of programs of studying of Russian abroad, progresses and strengthening of mutual understanding between people of Russia and Ukraine.
• Information Center "Window on America"
  The "Window on America" information center is part of a larger outreach project of the United States Government to provide information and resources about US history, culture, and people. The Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine sponsors the Window on America information center in Luhansk. The Center presents the most reliable and extensive information about the different spheres of life in the US including: government, laws, politics and culture, economy, business, and education. The center uses recent technology and resources to relay this information to the public.
• Boris Grinchenko's Literary heritage
  We offer to your attention the project dedicated to life and works of our outstanding compatriot, literary critic Boris Grinchenko. Here you will find an electronic collections of his literary heritage, the information about Grinchenko's museum at his native land in Alekseyevka village of Perevalsk region. The separate section is dedicated to folklore expeditions гринченковедов Луганщины. The full bibliography as products most Гринченко, and critiques about its creativity is presented.
• Outstanding researchers of Lugansk region
  The information dedicated to life and creativity of the most outstanding researchers of history of Lugansk region is offered to your attention. Here you can also find completely or selectively digitized documents on history of Lugansk region. The project is created by the department of folk data bases of by LRUSL named after A.M. Gorky in close cooperation with authors, whose works are presented inside the project
