• Culture of Ukraine: digital library
  Since 2011 Lugansk Regional Library named after M. Gorky takes part in corporate project on creation of e-library "Culture of Ukraine", that was initiated by the National Parliamentary Library of Ukraine (NPLU). Project is supported by the Ministry of culture of Ukraine
• International Program "BIBLIOMOST"
  Bibliomost is partner work of IREX, USAID and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
• With the book into the future
  In 2009, within the framework of the Year of Reading, public libraries of Lugansk region organize the action "With the book into the future"
• Euro-integration choice of Ukraine for the habitants of the Lugansk region
  A project realized in the Library together with public organization Lugansk Region Agency for Sustainable Development within the framework of the European Program of the International Renaissance Foundation, which except for other initiatives is actively instrumental in creation of European Information Centers in the different regions of Ukraine

• The program of updating of library collections of Lugansk region in 2006-2010
  The program is the continuation of the state programs on maintenance of libraries of the region with the necessary minimum of scientific, scientific practical, socially significant periodicals. Creation in libraries of the selective, carefully generated repertoir of both national, and foreign printed editions according to their status, structure of users is provided.
• The concept of libraries system automation of the Ministry of culture and tourism of Ukraine in Lugansk region (project)
  The project offers the consecutive scheme of libraries of the region automatization on seven core direction of activity, including modernization of libraries, introduction of automation library system, introduction of modern information services. Creation of modeling libraries in some areas of the region is planned.
