Events | "Crossroads: Ways of Spiritual Development"

On February 17 in the sector «Russian Center» of the Lugansk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after A.M. Gorky the department of arts has organized the presentation of the new project of library: the Creative workshop "Crossroads: Ways of Spiritual Development". The purpose of the given project is formation, development of spiritual space, and active popularization of moral values. "Crossroads" are important dialogues about different problems in our society; it is a crossroad of ideas, opinions, points of view, and beliefs. It is also a sphere of crossing different interests, and synthesis of sciences. Professionals, people on whom the future development of society directly depends, spoke about ways of spiritual development in education of the young generation. At the session the concept of the project, theme and the forms of subsequent meetings were considered.

The people present have considered the Concept of the given project, and also discussed the offered questions and various forms of realization for the subsequent meetings. Presentation was directed by I.P. Rybyantseva the director of the library.
Representatives of intellectual and creative elite of Lugansk, teachers of local high schools, participants of various public associations, and organizations brought to the focus the certain topics, expressed the opinion concerning importance of the project.

Among the offers on the organization and conducting the meetings of the Creative workshop were the following: meetings in Institute of Spiritual Development of V.Dahl East Ukrainian National University, the weekly program on the regional TV, meetings in artists and sculptors’ ateliers, attraction to participation in the project of representatives of the clergy, and the youth. On presentation also there were employees of the library, journalists of local TV channels and regional newspapers.
