• The 9th Book Forum of Lugansk Region "Book. Information. Society"
  On May 24, 2011 at 11:00 the grand opening of The 9th Book of Lugansk Region "Book. Information. Society" was open.
• Bulgakov's Night in the Library
  May 12, 2011 in the Luhansk Gorky Library there was a Bulgakov's Night in the Library - "The path of a genius: heroes of Mikhail Bulgakov" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of great Russian writer.
• Fair of innovative library services and electronic government
  On April 11, 2011 in Kiev the National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation "Ukrainian House" the Fair of innovative library services and electronic government was held.
• Mobile School of Computer and the Internet Literacy
  On January 28, 2011 in the Lugansk Regional Universal Scientific Library there have passed the official opening ceremony of Mobile School of Computer and the Internet Literacy, created within the framework of the Project "Progress of the Civil Society" which is implemented by the Development Program of United Nations Organization in Ukraine at financial support of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and partner of the project - Charitable Fund of Creative Center COUNТЕRPАRТ.
• 30th of September - All-Ukrainian Day of Libraries
  Lugansk RUSL named after M. Gorky celebrates the Day of Libraries in the all-national scale under the motto: "Libr@ry - world of new possibilities".
• Opening of the Regional Training Center for Librarians
  On September 7, 2010 ceremony of official opening of the Regional training center took place in Lugansk Regional Universal Scientific Library which is created with the support of the Project of the international technical help "Global Libraries "Bibliomist-Ukraine"
