• Book collections
  The library totals more than 1 million books on all branches of knowledge, audiovisual material, documents in electronic form, and also collection of musical notes and cartographical editions
• Collection of rare books
  Now the collection of the sector of rare and valuable editions makes about 6,000 copies of books, among them there are about 4,500 rare books. In the collection there are periodicals of the XVII-XX-th centuries on all branches of knowledge in Russian, Ukrainian and foreign languages. The significant part of them is reference editions published before 1917

  Here you will find photographic materials about activity of Lugansk writers, their manuscripts, letters, books, folklore material, works of local artists and many other things.

  Catalogues and thematic indexes will allow you to be guided quickly enough and conveniently in our million collection of editions which are available in the library
• The collection of books "Russians Abroad"
  The collection totals from above 1,5 thousand copies of books, albums, and magazines. The basis of the collection Russians Abroad is made with books of political and military personalities, historians, philosophers, seminary students, writers, deprived of possibilities to live and work on the Native land and published outside Russia
