An exhibition is located on 2 floors.

They told about: how Christmas is celebrated in Germany, what is a calendar and wreath Adventa, who hides under the Christmas tree presents for German children, what kinds of Christmas Fair in Europe and other Christmas traditions.
Master class on decoupage technique was held for guests of the event, everyone could try to make handmade souvenirs.
The exhibition of handmade Christmas cards was presented to guests of the event.
In conclusion, all participants were invited to a tasting of German Christmas sweets.
Students, lectures, readers, library staff took part in the event.

The book was presented by Vakhovskaya Nelya - a literary critic, editor of PROSTORY and the compiler of anthology . She told about the literary process in Germany after the Unification in1990, the media's position of the auther-intellectual and social meaning of the writer's position. At the presentation was also presented the leading German writers 90s.: Durs Gryunbayn, Wolfgang Gilbig, Friedrich Christian Delius, Katja Lange-Mulher, Thomas Brusig, Thomas Gethe, Reinhard Irgl.
All works have been translated into Ukrainian for the first time. The book is illustrated with the works of Ukrainian artist Anatoly Belov.

On Decembers, 2 the library received new specialized equipment.
An Internet-center for users with limitations of sight will be opened in the library. This specialized center will function within the framework of USA Embassy in Ukraine - the project "Internet for public libraries" (LEAPV)"

Leading scientists, economists teachers of high educational institutes, president of sports tourism federation of Lugansk region and hosts of village homesteads took part in the event.
Workers of the department prepared the book illustrative exhibition "Ukraine: Traveling and Tourism" and panel exhibition "Tourism in Lugansk Region".

The exhibition included memories of the witnesses, official documents from the archive, critical materials, fiction works which represent real events of that times. The exhibition is going to work for two weeks.

The program of the fest it was book exhibitions, media presentations, performance of collectives, presentation of national cuisines, galleries of national costumes, "firework" of unity and mutual understanding.

The regular session was dedicated to this mysterious and interesting holiday, prepared by the Book exhibition "Halloween The Main Holiday of Evil Spirits". The club members and guests celebrated "Halloween" interesting. Thay prepared an unusual masks and attires, treats and of course the main attribute of the holiday - the pumpkin from which cut the famous torch. Peace Corps volunteers prepared some interesting information from the history and traditions of Halloween in the U.S.: movie clips, questions and surprises, all participants of the meeting learnt the dance the songs, pumpkin pie, the main meal of the holiday . All members celebrated "Halloween" with fun in the good mood and tasty treats.
